Rowing Club will get everyone up and moving through the use of Concept2 rowing machines or ergometer (ERG). Class will include a warm up, time on and off the rower, and body weight strength exercises. In addition, participants will learn about stroke rate, heart rate monitoring, and the importance of cardio and strength exercise as a life long habit. Each student will maintain a log book of meters rowed, stroke rate, and times to track progress. Rowing is an innovative and motivating way to stay fit and healthy! We will also discuss the basics of nutrition, and what the best foods are to fuel your body before and after a workout. (Sneakers are required for all classes).
